Bible Wars!

Teach your students to search the Bible :)

Bible Wars is a great activity to finish any Upper Elementary Sunday School lesson on time. You do need Bibles for all students.

Here are the Rules as taken from a typical Bible Wars page:

Simple to play. Two teams vie to look up Bible references as you call them out. First player to find a reference stands up and reads it aloud. The player’s team scores one point.

To help the kids who haven’t yet developed Bible skills, you might try this rule: Do not allow the same player to answer twice in a row.

We’ve provided three rounds so losing teams get a second and third chance. Some verses may be repeated—repetition helps kids remember the Bible’s table of contents. Play as time permits.

Today’s game features verses about the names and titles of Jesus in the Bible.

Of course you can play Bible Wars by just picking references at random. The charm of these pages is that all verses support the theme of the CLAMbake lesson they come from. Yep, they are included if you are using our CLAMbake curriculum. But if you are not and yet would like to use these anyway, have at it with our blessings!

NOTE: The 50th (final) lesson of the CLAMbake Old Testament does not have a Bible Wars activity. The folder you download will have individual PDF files 1-49ot.
